*I received the products mentioned below in exchange for an honest review.

I was contacted recently by the folks at and asked if I would like to review one of their products. In case you haven't heard of their company let me tell you a bit about them. specializes in dorm size bedding. With their large selection of items they make finding bedding to fit your twin XL size bedding super easy. offers everything from sheets and comforters to blankets and towels that are perfect for those students heading off to the dorm this Fall.

I chose to review the 100% cotton 6 piece towel set.
Product description:
Price: $39.99
Includes: 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels & 2 washcloths
Single ply construction
Comes in white or yellow(canary)
Machine washable
100% cotton

What did I think?
At this price point, I was concerned about the quality. I expected thin, cheap towels. To my surprise the quality is quite good. The towels are standard size, this is great because they don't take up a lot of room in your laundry basket. Each piece is also quite soft, not at all scratchy like some department store brands I have used before. I like the soft, buttery color, too. I think this set would be good for dorms and even guest bathrooms at home.

Kimble Beauty Bounce Back Curl Shampoo & Conditioner Review

*I received the products mentioned in the post in exchange for an honest review.

I recently received a couple products from Kimble Beauty to try out.
The Kimble philosophy is that style and healthy hair maintenance should coexist. Achieving a look of style should not be at the sacrifice of hair's own beauty and health.

The products at Kimble Beauty may be geared toward ethnic hair but I don't like labels. I think if a product works for you it just works and that is the important part.

I was sent Kimble Beauty Bounce Back Curl Shampoo & Conditioner to review.
Bounce Back Curl Shampoo description:
Size: 236ml
Price: $12.99
Hydrates hair and eliminates frizz

What did I think?
I love the fresh fragrance of this shampoo and the smell lasts all day long. It lathers up quite nicely and left my hair soft, shiny and very clean feeling. A little seems to go a long way. It did seem to give my hair extra bounce and volume.

Bounce Back Curl Conditioner description:
Size: 236ml
Price: 12.99
Frizz-free formula for soft manageable curls

What did I think?
This conditioner has a creamy texture and the same wonderful fragrance as the shampoo. As with the shampoo, it didn't take much to get the job done. It left my hair feeling silky, smooth and without any tangles. I used this on my daughter's long hair and it did a terrific job of getting out all the tangles. It did not weigh our hair down or leave it feeling greasy.
